The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has officially released notifications for the recruitment of 841 posts including Assistant Administrative Officers (Generalist & Specialist) and Assistant Engineers (AE). 1. Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO)
Total Posts: 760
- AAO (Generalist): 350
- AAO (Chartered Accountant): 30
- AAO (Company Secretary): 10
- AAO (Actuarial): 30
- AAO (Insurance Specialist): 310
- AAO (Legal): 30
Educational Qualification:
- Generalist: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- CA: Bachelor’s Degree + passed Final CA Exam, Associate Membership required.
- CS: Bachelor’s Degree + Membership of ICSI.
- Actuarial: Bachelor’s Degree + passed at least 6 papers of Actuarial Exams (India/UK).
- Insurance Specialist: Bachelor’s Degree + Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India (Life) with 5+ years experience.
- Legal: Law Degree with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
2. Assistant Engineer (AE)
Total Posts: 81
- AE (Civil): 50
- AE (Electrical): 31
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Electrical Engineering with minimum 3 years’ experience in multi-storey building projects.
Other Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
- AAO (Legal) / AAO (CA): 21 to 32 years
- Other Posts: 21 to 30 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PWD (Gen): 10 years
- PWD (SC/ST): 15 years
- PWD (OBC): 13 years
Salary & Pay Scale
Basic Pay of ₹88,635/- per month on the scale of ₹88,635–169,025 plus allowances as per LIC rules.
